I got a fish tank today and in my room these spots are free for the fish tank but i dont no where to put them.
Bed Side Table,
Shelf,
On top of Stereo,
and my desk.
Where should I put it?
Also what can make the fish tank look girly?

Well, the most important thing is will the structure you are placing it on support it’s weight? You don’t give your size, but I’d say definitely no to the stereo and shelf.
A gallon of water is roughly 8 pounds, but including the tank, decorations, gravel ect, it’s roughly 10 pounds per gallon.
I’d think that the bed side table or desk were the best bet, depending on their size and the tanks weight. You have to consider not only will it hold it, but in the event of say, an earthquake, or someone bumping into it, will jostling it’s weight distribution jocky the support? Will this weaken it?
As for girly, you could put a mermaid http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3107801 in there, or use pink and/or purple rocks and plants. There’s a lot of color options out there as well as a wide variety of ornaments that would be girly.
